Cooking Day 7 Blog

On Day 7 of our cooking J-term we arrived at our final destination of China, this cuisine is unique in a way, because of how it involves all different types of flavors (ex: Sweet, Sour, Salty, etc…)


We made dumplings out of minced red cabbage, garlic, and green onions. Then we wrapped the dumplings in this dumpling wrapping paper and fried them. We also made vegetable stir fry, Cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, garlic, soy sauce, carrots, mushrooms, green onion,

red onions, ginger. We   marinated tofu in a sauce with sesame oil, soy sauce ginger and green onions. And to drink we made jasmine tea.

KHOU 11 was kind enough to come into the Recipe for Success house and interview the Pro-Chefs, as well as some of the POHS students.


Finally, we all sat down and ate our vegetarian chinese cuisine, and hung out with the news crew.
